A crane operator is a construction worker responsible for safely operating a crane to lift, move, and position heavy materials or equipment at construction sites, industrial facilities, or other work areas, requiring them to perform pre-shift inspections, monitor load weights, communicate with ground crew, and ensure all safety protocols are followed while maneuvering the crane to precisely place loads as directed. Employee will properly operate large equipment to work on operational projects and work safely as part of a team under the supervision of a Foreman/ Supervisor. | |

Exerting 25-50 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, or up to 10 lbs. constantly. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to kneel, bend and crawl. Ability to squat and crouch. Ability to tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals. Ability to reach over head. Must have the ability to lift, bend, twist and pull to be able to successfully seat and safely secure oneself to operate crane. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Employee works regularly under undesirable conditions. Interruptions and distractions are frequent and can have some effect on job performance.
